Where we work

From Irrel.

We know the roads, the dead spots and the businesses in between. If it has to be on site, we come round. If not, we connect remotely and you save us the trip.

As the crow flies from Irrel. Places marked L are in Luxembourg.

In Irrel, Prümzurlay, Ernzen, Echternacherbrück and Ferschweiler we don’t charge for travel. Further out, the drive counts as working time, because that’s how long the technician sits in the car and can’t help another customer. In Luxembourg we work on site and remotely.

Behind the scenes

At three in the morning, your backup runs.

We check that it worked. And the updates, the virus protection and the hard drives that are slowly getting tired. If something’s up, we let you know. Usually before anyone notices.

Monitoring and maintenance

A night at your business Example
  1. Server backup starts.
  2. Done. The backup is complete and stored in the data centre.
  3. Security updates on eleven computers, in the agreed maintenance window.
  4. A drive in the storage unit reports its first read errors. (Warning)
  5. Ticket opened, replacement drive noted.
  6. We call you and book a time for the swap.
  7. Mrs Schmidt notices none of it.
This is what monitoring looks like when it works: you don’t see it.

Services

What’s on your mind?

Most people come to us with one of three questions.

Something’s stuck.

One computer, the printer, the whole network. Call us, open a ticket, or we take a look remotely.

It should stay quiet.

We keep watch in the background: updates, backups, virus protection, drives that are getting tired. If something’s up, you get a message. And a report every month.

Something new is needed.

Cabling an office, replacing a server, trying out AI without handing your data to strangers. Or having an admin on the team for a while, without creating a position for it.

Help

What’s wrong?

Three questions, and you know the quickest way.

1. Is anyone unable to work right now?
2. What’s affected?
3. Can the device still get online?

In short: if someone can’t work, call us on +49 6525 933 318 0. If it can wait, open a ticket. If the device still runs and can get online, we can help via remote support.

The first step

Have a look first. Free of charge.

Before anyone sells anything, we come round and look at what’s there. Afterwards you know what’s working and what will cause trouble next. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

  • Network, Wi-Fi and internet connection
  • Servers and storage
  • Backup, and whether it can be restored
  • Updates, virus protection, who has access to what

Data protection

We monitor your systems. Not your staff.

Monitoring sees load, storage space, updates and whether the backup ran. It doesn’t see emails, documents, keystrokes or browsing history. We’re not interested, and we don’t need it.

This website works the same way. No fonts from Google, no maps, no visitor counter, no cookies. That’s why no banner is asking you for anything. How we handle data

Shop and workshop in Irrel

PC, Mac, laptop, printer, server. We fix what’s stuck, wherever it was bought. We come round, collect it, or you drop it off. That goes for private customers too. And if something new is needed: we sell hardware in the shop as well.

Who works here

Four people. Karl-Heinz Hartmann, known to everyone as Kalle, founded CTW and runs the company. Thorsten Schleicher designs the systems and looks after customers, Alexander Schmitt administers and repairs. Nordis Poeppel keeps the accounts and the office in order.
